Baby Fat Font: A Playful Script for Creative Branding Projects
Testing Baby Fat Across Real Branding Applications
- Logo Design: On a café logo mockup, Baby Fat gave a sense of approachability and warmth. It worked well with a soft color palette and a hand-drawn icon. It felt like a natural fit for a neighborhood business that wants to be seen as friendly and a little whimsical.
- Packaging Mockup: For bakery boxes and coffee sleeves, Baby Fat was a hit. The font’s roundness and bounce made the product feel light-hearted and fun. I paired it with a clean sans serif for ingredient lists, and the contrast worked beautifully.
- Web & Social Media: On a website hero section and Instagram post templates, Baby Fat performed well as a headline font. It grabbed attention without being overwhelming. I did notice that in long captions or paragraph form, it started to lose clarity, so I kept it to short bursts of text.
- Printed Materials: Business cards and thank-you tags looked great with Baby Fat in small doses. I used it for the business name and a tagline, and it gave the printed pieces a personal, handcrafted feel.
